Darren joined shedkm in 2013 after relocating to the north west from London.  With a specialist interest in sustainability and passion for creative, intelligent design, Darren has experience across a range of sectors including housing, commercial, education and masterplanning.

Darren is an offsite manufacturing expert with 20 years’ experience developing offsite businesses, processes and products. Cogent is a specialist building technologies consultancy focused on new product development, manufacturing strategy and lean manufacturing and process improvement.

Francesca works on the Mayor of London’s housing policy, with a particular focus on supply of new homes, construction methods, land, and affordable housing funding. She previously worked at two London-based housing associations and has eight years’ experience across policy, research and strategy.

Jonathan founded Urban Splash in 1993 with Tom Bloxham and has been the creative force behind big projects ranging from Fort Dunlop to his own award-winning house in Liverpool. Jonathan has day to day responsibility for creative strategy and design direction and continues to be highly committed to good architecture – amongst his other roles he acts as a trustee of the RIBA.
